Educational offer

The second cycle of early childhood education includes P3, P4 and P5 courses, from 3 to 5 years old. It is an educational stage where the first learnings are consolidated and extended. Throughout this stage we develop the 4 skills to learn to learn: learn to be, learn to do, learn to know and learn to live together.

In pre-school we ensure the appropriate selection and sequencing of learning content in accordance with the maturing development of children. All this without underestimating the identity of the cycle as a nucleus with specific characteristics, its own objectives and specific forms of organization, in accordance with the biological, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children at this age.

We understand learning as a means that must allow us to know, interpret, use and value reality to become meaningful, where the student is the active agent of their own teaching and learning process.

Axes that define our pre-school stage

Reception from 8a.m.. The class timetable is from 8:45 to 12:45 and from 14:45 to 16:45 from Monday to Friday. There are extracurricular classes from 16:45 to 17:45.
Pedagogical model
In order to develop each child’s talent, we structure students’ learning in the following areas: literacy, mathematical language, English, experimentation, symbolic play, arts, psychomotor skills and technology.
Foreign languages
From P3 onwards, pupils study English in addition to the fact that this foreign language is also present in other non-linguistic sessions up to a third of the school week, with the aim of exposing students to English. English is also used with some dining and extracurricular monitors.
Extra hour
In this time slot, students expand their knowledge with various activities thus completing their training. The DESTI project, robotics, languages and emotional education, among others, are the most prominent.
The school has creative spaces inspired by the principles of neuroeducation to bring learning closer to students, turning it into a meaningful experience. It has friendly and modern spaces that bring warmth, serenity and harmony to children.
Dining space
The school offers this service with a menu planning that adapts to the health needs of each child and it is daily cooked at school. After lunch the P3 students take a nap. P4 and P5 can participate in various extracurricular activities or play in the playground with the stimulation of the monitors.
Trips and activities
Throughout the school year, each level plans different activities and trips in the environment and camps at the end of the school year. However, we also celebrate popular traditions and festivals throughout the year.
Extracurricular activities
From Monday to Thursday, the school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. The offer has different areas: leisure, technology, languages, art, sports, among others.
At La Salle Sports Center, all pre-school students have a weekly swimming session from P3 either to learn to swim or to perfect the technique to ensure that all students master the aquatic environment.

Pre-school pedagogical programs

At La Salle we work by applying our own programs that complete our educational offer. Thanks to this methodology, we are able to enhance students' abilities and promote their future learning through group work, workshops and corners. The specific programs of Pre-school are:
