Secondary school extracurricular activities

Extracurricular activities are a good tool to complete the training of children and young people as they allow them to work and develop the multiple intelligences of each individual.

Technology

Robotics
Activity designed to motivate the students, in a fun way, they program and build different type of robots and use technology wisely. Understand better some concepts from the STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). Programing with Lego Mindstorms EV3 and Apps. The aim is that the computers, programing and robotics could be use as a pedagogical tool in many different ways.
Robotics club
Activity designed to work concepts from STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), based in research, team work, and challenge solving in the framework of robotics competitions as First Lego League (FLL) o World Robotics Olympiad. The aim is to equip the school as a permanent club that could elaborate internal and external activities and make them known.

Oratory and creativity

Oratory
To learn the art of public speaking and debates. In all sessions there are practical exercises that allow to work different abilities needed for debating. It is provided the possibility to participate in national and international debates competitions.
Theatre
The theatre we empower and help our boys and girls to develop their imagination, activate their emotions and their sensitivity. Theater helps them with memorizing techniques, concentration, listening, oral and body expresion, to be responsible and to belong to a group. The students learn, in a fun way, interpretation techniques that helps them to talk in public.
Comic and manga
This activity pretends to offer to the secondary students the opportunity to learn to draw and paint with different type of materials and techniques, to discover new horizons in the artistic field, develope the artistic creativity and to open a new imagination world in front of the student.

Sports

Be fit
Sportive activity designed with the aim to improve the physical condition (global work of strength, resistance and flexibility) and health. This activity is organised by the Sports Club and directed by a professional personal coach. This activity is offered in two different methods: inicial groups and groups to perfect the technique.
